I want to be healthy and fit for all the wonderful adventures and celebrations ahead of me. I want to be proud of myself and be happy to have my picture taken.

Food is just for the nourishment of my body; it will not solve anything else pressing in my life. The foods I'm craving now will be available tomorrow. My obsession with a particular food will eventually pass if I work through it. Its ok to ask for help. Sharing my vulnerabilities actually strengthens me. Taking the time ...

My name is Susan and I am 52 years old and I have had a weight problem all my life. I am tired of dealing with the aches and pains and problems caused by carrying so much weight on my frame. I have already dealt with heal spurs and tore the cartilage in both knees. I want to take better care of myself but don't always know how.

Donít say ďI NEED to lose weight, I HAVE to lose weight, Iíve GOT to lose weight.Ē

During quiet time say to yourself:

I canít wait to lose this fat.

I want to lose this weight.

Iím one-hundred percent committed to losing this weight.

I know that sometimes Iím going to fail, BUT I know I will learn from the mistakes and go on, because it will be so enjoyable to live my life like this.

Iíve decided to lose this weight. I will feel so much better, if I make this change. I canít wait to transform my body, so I can wear pretty clothes, so I can feel more attractive. I want to feel stronger, healthier and more alive.

I feel so excited to lose this weight.

Iím 100% committed to becoming thin.

I know if I commit to eating well and exercising, my body is going to transform and Iím going to feel better about myself. Iím going to feel more alive and Iím going to enjoy wearing pretty clothes. Iíll be more confident in social gatherings.
