Lookin good by next summer!!!

Everyone always says this, but I've always struggled with my weight. I lost around 70 pounds while I was in college the first time, but that was because I was completely broke and walked back and forth to work and school. Now I'm back in college, but wish to lose the weight without going hungry...and my new school is WAY to far away to walk everyday. So this is going to be a big challenge for me. Please help to motivate me any way possible. I'm big on helping...so if you need a ...

Hi Dorothy! Welcome to sparkpeople. :D
You're right, having people to motivate you, encourage you, and hold you accountable has been vital for me. On sparkpeople, I find that through the sparkteams, especially in that I can find people with the same journey as me. Sometimes having a lot to lose, can get overwhelming... so finding people with the same amount to me, has helped TREMENDOUSLY!

As far as specific exercise ideas, I'm not sure about walking and ways to make it not boring, yet safe. :D I do know that sparkpeople has some workout videos and stuff for free, and maybe those coudl help. :D
