Let the madness begin!

I'm an interesting 23 yr old who loves video games, time with the family and just being with my friends. My goal is to lose the wieght that I gained after one of the brightest stars in my little world went out 4 years ago. The loss of my aunt lead me to gain almost 25 pounds every year for four years and that put me at about 310 and a tight 26 in jeans. I have alway faught with my weight and astham my whole life. And a trip to Bed Bath and Beyond, where I unwillingly stepped on to a scale, lead ...

The loss of my aunt lead me to gain almost 25 pounds every year for four years and that put me at about 310 and a tight 26 in jeans. I have alway faught with my weight and astham my whole life. And a trip to Bed Bath and Beyond, where I unwillingly stepped on to a scale, lead me realize that either I lose weight or look forward to a life of diabetes and other aliment that plauge my family.

We will see where I go this time. I fell of the wagon a while back and now am hopping back on with more drive then every. This is going to be a long hard journey and I am going to love every minute of it.

Tips for starting out?? Well the biggest tip I can give you is just JUMP IN! If you're going to do this you must be willing to go for it regardless of circumstances that may be in front of you. I say that only from experiences.

Find exercises that you enjoy! That was a big ticket for me. I'm not the treadmill type. I found fitness classes to be my favorite type of exercise.

Don't forget strength Training. It's what keeps your metabolism up. Yoga is awesome to build upper body strength as well.

Watch what you eat, try to make things at home, stay away from sugar, diet cokes stuff like that. Just treat your body like your temple. Don't feel it up with chemicals.

And get as much support as you need! That's why we're here!
