Well I am back and ready to have another go at it. It's been a total of 5 yrs since I first stummbled upon SparkPeople.com and about 3 yrs since my last "starting over" attempt, here on Spark. I am not sure what has motivated me to begin this journey "again" (for what must be the umpteenth time) but I do know that NOTHING BEATS A FAILURE BUT A TRY!!! So I have to keep trying to lose this weight once and for all! I have lost weight many times in the past and kept it off very well. But somewhere along the way I got off track and slowly but surely started to put the weight back on. My ulitmate goal is to be fit and healthy...my ideal goal is to weight 140 lbs again! I'll take whichever I can get at this point LOL...I'll keep trying until I reach my goal!

I jhave been married for 15 yrs and have 4 children...an almost 22 yr old, an almost 20 yr old, a 14 1/2 yr old and a newly turned 13 yr old (today). My awesome family is my reason for starting this journey over again and committing to making the necessary lifestyle changes so that I can live long and healthy.

Although I feel somewhat fearful to start again, I will not let it stop me! I know each day gets better...I know each day I get stronger and more confident as I reach my goals. My approach this time is to take it one day at a time and to be as honest with myself as possible. I hope to find support, motivation, and inspiration from so many of you, here on Spark! Enough said...here I go! :)

My Goals:
To lose 38 lbs by my birthday (11/17/13).


My Program:
5 to 6 days of cardio

3 to 4 days of strength training

eat 1200 calories daily




Personal Information:
Although I have traveled to many places, I live and have lived my entire life in Milw., WI. I currently work fulltime and will be attending UW-Milw this fall (2013-2014) to attain my BSW (Bachelor's in Social Work). I hope to continue on for a MSW (Master's) and one day work as a Family Therapist.


Other Information:
I love listening to music (sounds delicious on my Beats by Dre...LOL). I also like to dance, run on the treadmill or track, and drink wine and socialize with friends and family.

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE Dwyane Wade...LOL
