Trying (again) to make some changes in my life. I've tried this site before and found that, for me, tracking absolutely everything caused me to become too obsessed with the numbers. My weekly weigh-ins would literally set the mood for the following week and how well I did or did not stick with my plan. I spent a great deal of time planning every bit of food I would eat, worrying about whether it would put me over in one area while being concerned I wasn't reaching goal in another. Being aware of these things is one thing, but I had reached an unhealthy level of obsession that served only to amplify depressive tendencies rather than to motivate me. So I took a break, albeit for much longer than I should have, and am back to try again. This time, however, I'm working on the mental and habitual aspects rather than the finer details of the day. I'm keeping the goals more broad to establish new, healthier habits. In an attempt to remain non-obsessive, I have chosen to blog (rather than track) my day for the time being.
