My Goals:
Stay in shape. Run some races. Increase my speed. Would like to break 2 hours in a half marathon. Currently training for health rather than speed. Eventually I'd like to complete a full marathon and become an Iron Man before I turn 40. Work out at least 3 days a week. Stay under 180 lbs. Finish a triathlon. Add muscle, lose fat. Become a football player or a rock star...

My Program:
Mixture of strength training and running. Distance running. Strength training two or three days a week. Cardio four days a week.

Thanks for commenting on my triathlon blog. Yes, the swimming portion can be dangerous. You could actually die doing it!! Even though I don't swim well these days, I am very comfortable in open water, after all the years in the water as a youth. I can always rest and tread water :). Good for your Dad! Someday I may be able to ride a bike for long periods of time like he does.

thanks for the comments man... now I have to get back to reality.. that means dealing with my weight and disciplining myself to start weight training again. frankly, I have gotten sloppy. Its easy to do since I was so focused on just making it to race day that i wasnt going to trouble myself with any other details.... and you know that the devil is in the details...

gotta get back to work...party time is over :)

Thanks for the nice comment on my HM blog. They mentioned my name and hometown during my last marathon finish, too. I am on a roll with the announcers.
