Good day all you losers!!! Ya know, there was a time when it really hurt my feelings when someone called me a loser. Now I just tell myself, yep I sure am!! And how good it feels too!!

I am the mother of three awesome young men. They are ages 8, 12 & 17. We cannot forget my dh, too...I am totally surrounded by testosterone!! And I love it!! I moved to Texas 13 years ago after spending four years in the United States Navy. I struggled with my weight my whole life, but once I joined the military, the weight issues seem to disappear. Probably because the food on the ship was so bad and when out to sea there was nothing better to do but work out in the free gym!! I did not begin struggling with my weight again until I got pregnant with my 10 year old and developed toximia that went undiagnosed until it was too late. During that pregnancy I gained 110 pounds and when inquiring about it to the midwife was told that it was normal for a pregnant woman to gain weight. Evidently I was a moron who had never had a child or known anyone else that had a baby. But I was an idiot because I did not go get a second opinion. The result was a 10 pound 11 ounce baby delivered pretty much naturally. The hospital almost killed me and my son. Needless to say, my third pregnancy was seen to by a highly recommended doctor who ended up inducing me three weeks early due to the result of an ultrasound which said the baby was anywhere between 8 pounds and 14 pounds. He ended up being 9 pounds 8 ounces, even three weeks early.

I have developed several medical issues due to the weight I gained during my second pregnancy such as gravitational adema in my right foot/ankle, back problems, arthritis in both hips, high triglycerides, low good cholesterol and more. I know the weight loss I am striving for will take care of these problems and more.

January 2009 I asked God to help me with the issues I have been struggling with for the past 10+ years. I have tried to do this many times on my own with the results getting worse and worse. When I went to the doctor the end of December, I had hit my all-time high of 275 pounds which was the weight I was when I had my middle son. God has been an inspiration and saving grace in my life. I fully believe that he will continue to help me reach my goals and help me get healthy for my four men. His Grace and Love are my guiding light!!
