What can I say. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. I want my old body back, my old self back, my old life back! So... here we go! The sad thing is that my degree is health education (emphasis on nutrition, wellness, & fitness). Needless to say... I have trouble practicing what I preach. UGH! What a stupid-head!

My goal is to get the old me back. I want to be 175 lbs or less (I got married at 160lbs) and a size 10/12. I'd love to be 140 (dream on). I want to be healthy everyday. I want to be beautiful again......

Here are some interesting stats:

Sept 19, 2006
BMI 36; Body Fat 39.1%
Weight 220# (went up to 230 after this)
Bust: 49.5"
Waist: 47.0"
Abdomen: 51.5"
Hips: 50.5"
Thighs: 29.0"
Arms: 15.0"

Started Sparkpeople April 2008 SW: 230 (UGH! Can you believe my weight went up?!)

Current Stats as of March 3, 2009 (2.5 yrs later)
BMI 35; Body Fat 39.1%
Weight 217# (I keep yo-yo-ing between 212 & 218)
Bust: 45.5" (DOWN 4")
Waist: 41.0" (DOWN 6")
Abdomen: 42" (DOWN 9.5")
Hips: 48" (DOWN 2.5")
Thighs: 23.0" (DOWN 6")
Arms: 13.0" (DOWN 2")

Goal 1: Lose 10lbs = 220 (Yeah I did it!)

Goal 2: 199 by June 1, 2009

Goal 3: 180 by Sept 9, 2009

Goal 4: 160 by Dec 1, 2009

Goal 5: 150 by Jan 1, 2010

Final GW: 160 (wedding wt or 140 my dream wt)

I'm an Algebra/ Science teacher, wife, & mother of 1. We live in Houston, TX - for now. I want to live closer to my sister. We have 3 dogs and a rabbit and just bought our 1st house in Jan '07.

Love to read, movies, hanging with friends, & home improvement.
Organization is my passion. Hope to retire as a professional organizer when I am done teaching.

    Hey, I got my book in the mail this week (400 calorie fix). I really, really like it. It has so many ideas for meals, and it is not restrictive. There are recipes in it too. In my opinion, it's definitely worth buying if you like to get ideas about meal planning.

    Thanks for the add; sorry it's been a little bit since you did it! I know that you can reach your goals, even reching 140lbs, if you stick with the plan. I thought I would be ecstatic if I made it down to 150lbs and now I'm in the low 130's! Let me know what kind of help you need with meal planning. I can at least share what has worked for me.
