I started my journey on 09/05/2006 and I did not expect for it to happen....I lost 30lbs in 4 months!!!

It does become a habit and you will succeed. This is a GREAT site and best of all it's FREE!! You have nothing to lose but weight and you are motivating soooo many which is the BEST FEELING EVER!!

Regarding starting off strong early and getting sidetracked by the end of the day, one thing that helped me a lot was planning out my next day's food by using the food tracker, then measuring the food out the afternoon or the night before (when I wasn't starving to death) and having it ready to go for the next day. No cooking when I'm already hungry. In your calorie counts plan on having some snacks every two or three hours; this will lessen once your stomach kind of shrinks, but it will keep you from getting ravenous by the end of the day. And I couldn't go to sleep unless I got a nighttime snack (a small bowl of cereal) because I was too hungry to go to sleep. ALL OF THIS TAKES A LOT OF TIME. Your day already has all of its time slots taken, so figure out what you can give up to make time for this time-consuming but important activity. BEST OF LUCK! emoticon
