Getting ready for real life

I am a graduate student but i am getting very close to leaving school behind! i just got a job in savannah, ga that i'm determined to be in shape for and im back on the spark wagon to make sure it happens! the fact that i plan to be on the beach every day is my main motivation at this point :) i'll be moving in june, so i have plenty of time to get my act together. spark worked so well last time, i'm hoping i can stick with it and meet my "off to the real world" goal!

My Goals:
I usually eat pretty healthy but when I get stressed or when I am up late working I snack a lot... combine that with sitting at the computer all the time and the pounds add up - so the goals are to cut out snacking, and move A LOT more!

My Program:
Cutting out unnecessary calories and doing something active every day, even if it is something small!

Personal Information:
I'm a grad student and all this time at the computer has taken its toll... time to get up and get a move on!

Hey you, it's been almost a week since I've seen you on Spark!!! We need to motivate each other!!

Any good exercises or recipes or snacks you'd like to share?? My latest and greatest discoveries are Fage 0% greek yogurt with a dab of honey, Jimmy Dean pre-cooked turkey sausages, and Muscle Milk 100 calorie shakes--all low calorie, low fat, and high protein!! Now if only I would actually do some weights or something so my muscles could benefit from the protein...

Well I hurt my ankle this weekend but I'm hoping to eat really healthy this week (except for an event on Saturday where I will probably destroy any calorie deficit I create)...how are you doing this week? Is the weather still gross up there?
