My Goals:
I want to learn how to exercise the right way before I focus on losing weight. I'm doing this for me, not for anyone around me or for my job. I want to be healthy and be able to carry that later in life. I would also like to use the equipment in my basement without fear or reservation.

My Program:
Working with a trainer for the first time ever! I want to do it right from the start. I want to maintain muscle later in life. Training twice a week with cardio on my own in between.

Thanks for the comment on my Idaho blog. We LOVE it up there too! In fact, we got married in a meadow on the road to Baker Lake, that's north of Ketchum. The Sawtooth area is stunning and this from a girl who lives in Colorado! Plus, the amenities are so top notch at the resort there, it feels relaxing and high class to get out there and get an intense outdoors workout! Love that.

I see you are starting Zumba. I keep meaning to check that out. Do you know if there are videos to try on YouTube?

I went back and forth over Exerbeat and Zumba 2 for probably a month. I couldn't find Exerbeat in the stores around me and Zumba 2 went on sale for $30 instead of $40 so I just did it.

I haven't tried it yet, but I will Saturday. I'm excited. I wish someone had it for rent cuz that will suck if I hate it. :) More to follow!

I was given Zumba 2 for Christmas and I am so very impressed it is definately a work out, it has a tracker where you can see progress, also you are given awards, you also collect stars that open new songs too dance to, I have zumba party and zumba2 is so much more superior. I totally recommed it!!

Every year it seems to me I hear complaints about spring. It is either
"late" or "unusually cold," "abnormally dry" or "fantastically wet,"
for no one is ever willing to admit that there is no such thing as a normal spring.

Well is April is half over and I think over the last 15 days we have had everything from 70 degrees sunshine to 2 inches of snow on the ground. Yesterday was so blustery, I felt I was in the Hundred Acre Wood with hufflelumps and woozles.

So dear friends in honor of April, I present to you the following quotes:

April showers bring May flowers.

April is half March, half May.

April weather: rain and sunshine both together.

April weather is more capricious than winter.

April weather likes to repeat the April Fool's Day.

April showers bring Spring flowers.

Don't ever bet on April weather.

April wet, good wheat.

A cold April brings us bread and wine.

emoticon Remember that is WINE not WHINE...which I appear to be doing.HaHa.

emoticon Hope you have a happy, healthy, joyous week. Keep me posted on your successes...except the number of SPARK points you get. How come so many of my friends are so lucky? Love you all and may you gain strength and lose pounds! emoticon emoticon

emoticon Okay SPARK friends make April 1st a new starting point for a goal you really want to achieve. If you have been working on a goal since January 1st, you have been at it for three full months so be proud of yourself! emoticon

emoticon For those of you who just have to play pranks from saying, "your shoe is untied" or replacing the sports section with last weeks, just remember....
