Starting to live again

Time to update my intro. I'm pleased to say that I have been able to stick with the Atkins lifestyle and I am seeing results. That makes me happy. I don't think I've ever stuck with a "diet" or life change for this long ... except for the negative life change of eating too much & not exercising.

I now enjoy exercise, though I will admit - some days it's a push to get myself moving! But once I get into it, I love it.

My Goals:
I want to lose over a hundred pounds. I celebrated the first 10 and will continue to celebrate each 10 as they melt away!

My Program:
LOW carb all the way. It doesn't work for everyone - but it works for me! I've never felt healthier or had more energy. Meats, veggies, cheese, macadamia nuts and chocoperfection bars (yep, low carb chocolate made with plant based sugar alcohol - YUM).

Exercise!
Walking, elliptical, zumba, jillian michaels and aerobics. In the spring I'm hoping to start running again.

Personal Information:
My name is Diane and I am 45 yrs old. I'm married with 2 children and we have a bunch of animals. I live in the Pocono mountains and love it here. Love the wild life, the weather and all the amazing places to hike. It is a beautiful area and I hope to get more active as more weight comes off.

Other Information:
My goal is to start running 5ks. Maybe one day a half marathon. Heck, maybe even a full marathon. Crazy thought!

Hey hey,

Our Canada Day was nice and relaxing. Didn't do too much, just took it easy. This past weekend we had a big combined b-day pool party -- THAT was pretty fun! It was complete with a massive candy bar! I don't think I've eaten that much candy in one day since I was a kid! emoticon The best part is that I'm completely guilt free and can take that day off here or there and still get right back on track. emoticon

Yeah, I'm diggin' the gym! I'm also finding now that I *LOVE* being out on my bike and also how fun racquetball is! The bike is good because we have many great bike paths around these parts, plus being outside rulez! emoticon
