For soda, I found for a while, having sparkly water helped, it was a special treat without the aspartame or sugar.
For changing behavior, I have to do it in micro steps. Just go out to the mail box and back. Just go take five breaths on the back porch. When I know I can do it, I end up doing more than I asked of myself.
