1. August 22, 2010 I will do the 12K then the fun kids run of 1K with my family. It's a sunset run in Vancouver, WA.
2. Right now, I will get back into week 10 of my FIRST training and continue to focus on rehabilitating my knees and legs.
Eat less of bad things and eat more of the good in the proper caloric range.

I'm a 37 year old mom of two beautiful girls 4 and 6. We've been living in Vancouver, WA. for almost 7 years now. It's rainy in the winter spring months but absolutely gorgeous in the summer and fall.
I'm learning to incorporate a healthy eating and lifestyle for myself and my family. I thank God for all that I have including my super supportive and wonderful husband.

Hi Turtle. That is a great question. I would recommend that you post it on the Fitness and Exercise message boards for input and recommendations from SparkPeople's other trainers and our members. I'm sure you'll get tons of valuable tips that way! Also, search the site for "heart rate monitor article" and you'll find a good article that is a starting place on what features to look for.
Hi---I was almost done with the Hal program, was going to start it over again, but the 5 days/week running was getting to me.....had the FIRST book so I started with that....some days are easier then others..I will have to look at it online, now that you say on there its 10 weeks...any questions, feel free to ask and I will help if I can....
