I have hit a lot of goals since I posted that in 2011 for 2012. I am a certified kettlebell instructor and I teach 3 - 5 classes a week. I have gained more muscle mass and went down in size this is still holding true, I have obtained even more certifications this past year and have one in the works. Thankfully my classes keep growing and 50 turned out to be a great birthday. I qualified and went to Kazakhstan to represent team USA in Kettlebell sport, I competed in 3 lifts which is unheard of and did quite well. I hope to continue improving in sport and coaching others to be the athlete they can always be. Fitness is a priority and we need to move our bodies every day. Be that person that helps someone else be the best they can be. I would love to qualify again and compete in 3 lifts again. Life is good.

My Goals:
I want to continue to go down in weight, only 6 to go before my first goal and then a few more after that. I'm looking foward to a healthy summer and active one. I will learn how to maintain and keep the weight off and not coming back. This is a long process but I'll get there.
Nothing changes if nothing changes.

I am a Kettlebell instructor at my home town gym and it's constantly growing. I train kettlebell sport and train others for sport as well. Right now Life is good.

    Also you are welcome to join the 2017 Workouts completed for Kettlebell challenges. I have people use all the moves they do with a Kettlebell to get their numbers.

    If you decide to move up I'd suggest going with www.kettlebellsusa.com and go with their competition series, it makes going up a lot easier once you get stronger. They have a 6kg bell which I know you would need to work up to, but it makes learning the moves a lot more efficient. Too bad you don't live in MI I'd have you come to some of my classes.

    Yes, the kettlebell is an awesome tool. I don't own one but do own the TRX straps.
    I am hoping that as I get stronger that I will have heavier weights. Right now I only have 3 and 5 pounders. But I downsized last year from a single family home to a condo but I still have room to do my exercises.

    Hey I have tried to keep the swing challenge going but most people have left and the one die hard just recently left due to issues of not being able to log in any longer during work hours. It's still there under the 10,000 moves challenge. The Kettlebell can do amazing things if used properly.

    Hi! I just recently joined the kettle-bell team but it's inactive, meaning I really don't see anyone doing anything.

    I just started up with my chiropractor after having back surgery years ago. I am fine now; and no it wasn't the kettlebell that did me in. I think it was from all the snow shoveling I did. As a matter of fact, it was my chiropractor that said that I had a problem with my back and that was after I had gone to my PCP with x-rays in hand only to be told I was stable. My chiropractor who is a RKC was the one that said I had spinal stenosis. Thank God for him. So I told him I would be back to swing that kettlebell.

    So I am just starting back again for strength and mobility. Oh, I only have bone graft in me, no metal..
