Time to begin again...

I am a busy mom of two teen age daughters and a widow of two years. In spite of the challenges that daily life brings me, I realize I truly need to make my health and wellness a top goal in my life. I struggle with my Type 2 Diabetes and am over 100 pounds overweight and currently do not excercise - elements I hope to overcome in the next few months and years!

My Goals:
1. Obtain my target goal of 140 pounds by summer 2016 by losing at least one pound per week.
2. Restructure my body through cardiovascular exercise and strength training:
a. 90 minutes of strength training/week
b. 120 minutes of aerobic exercise per week.

My Program:
1. Maintain my exercise goals every day/every week.
2. Cut out sugary drinks and desserts.
3. Eat more vegetables.
4. Eat home cooked meals and lunches consistently.
5. Limit eating out to once a week.
