It is the mind that makes the body!

Well I must of lost my mind because I lost my focus this past year and gained back my weight. I am re-focusing and going back to what I know to do:

-Track my eating
-Exercise daily
-Love my life and my body

You are looking at the queen of yo-yo dieting. I have tried everything and have taken everything. This time around I am not going on another diet but I am going to start living healthy by using spark people.

I have been a member since Sept 2006 and I started my new venture on August 13, 2007 at 184 lbs. and I dropped down to 146 lbs. My motivation to lose the weight was a competition at work. We started a Get Fit for the Health of It challenge for the school year. It has been hard and I wish there could be an easier way but with hard work and determination I know I can do it. The goal is to see who can lose the most body fat % in the school year. Being as competitive as I am I was up for the challenge.

I started going to a life coach at the end of October and it has been a real eye opener. I am learning more about myself and how I relate with food and my personal life. I am working on myself and finally understanding that this is going to be a healthy way of life. There is no magic pill.

My goal is to drop my body fat % and I want to inspire and want to be inspired. I went from a size 16 to a size 8-10.

Cardio 4-5x weekly at 132 - 146 bpm.

Strength training 3-4x wkly.

Bagwork/Boxing 2x wkly

Eating 1200 - 1550 calories daily.

50% Carbs.
30% Protein
20% Fat

Increase protein intake for breakfast.

Lower fat and sodium intake.

I am a wife, mom, sister, daughter and great friend.

I was working on my black belt in Tae Kwon Do. I kickbox and box.
