Doing what it takes!
Hi! I am 39, married with 3 kids. I put on alot of weight over the past 7 years. I was sort of active but not enough to compensate for eating a whole bag of chips watching TV. After I lost my job, then a year later my truck & our house in the same year, and moving back home, I just packed on the pounds. So after breathing hard to walk up the hill to get to our new/used truck, dying from walking up the stairs to take a shower or visit dad, I decided it was time to do something ...
Hi! I am 39, married with 3 kids. I put on alot of weight over the past 7 years. I was sort of active but not enough to compensate for eating a whole bag of chips watching TV. After I lost my job, then a year later my truck & our house in the same year, and moving back home, I just packed on the pounds. So after breathing hard to walk up the hill to get to our new/used truck, dying from walking up the stairs to take a shower or visit dad, I decided it was time to do something about it. My sister knew I was going to start trying and she told me about SparkPeople. It has changed my life! I am determined to loose this weight. It is going to be GONE!!! The kids are great support!. The rest of the family has been pretty supportive. When I feel no motivation I come to SP and my teams. SP ROCKS!! Jan. 2013-- I lost 102 lbs and some of it has creeped back on. For the past 2 years I have been running more and the weight keeps creeping on. I am up 4 lbs since Jan. 2012. I can run 14 miles now but my weight is stalled.

My Program:
Strength 3x week Cardio 6x week Tracking my meals WATER, WATER, WATER!! Writing in my journal Walk at least 12 miles a week.
