I apologize. I am here, but I have been so busy I haven't had time to do much other than enter in my weight weekly.

How's the flashcard thing working out? I find them inherently depressing because when you start, you find you only know about 5 cards out of a hundred. However, that does progressively change as you continue to study and eventually you only have 5 you DON'T know and a hundred you do. emoticon

just accidently ran across your page. (and your frustrated blog. emoticon ) i jazzercise in omaha too! generally, the 90th street center. where do you go?

from your ticker, it looks like we started at about the same place. i KNOW you can make your 145 goal. i know this because i did it. emoticon and, there's nothing special about me, so i know you can do it too. trust the process .... be patient with yourself. it works when you work it!!

Man, I so know how it feels to be in that boat. Bad test scores and I don't get along so well. However, as your friend I advise not to cause yourself undue stress for your weigh in. (So much easier said than done!) I have a bad habit of getting dissappointed when I don't lose as much as I want to every week. That is completely destructive. When I was in weight watchers it got to the point where I was still upset and irritated even if I DID lose that week, simply because I didn't lose what I wanted or thought I should have lost. (Side note: I do believe I should have been losing more as the normal amount is supposedly 1 to 2 lbs per week, which I never met. I averaged .2 to .4 a week.) Then, as you said before, it starts that vicious cycle of eating to placate myself and thus getting fatter...If only french fries and cake good for you.

Don't worry so much about your test either. You will pull out and do better next time. It's only October, so you have 2 more months to bring it up. I know it sucks to think you do so well and then find out you bombed it, but I know you'll be able to come out on top. My psych professor insists that flash cards are the way to go when it comes to study time. His area of expertise is cognitive psych, namely memory, so it might be worth a shot. I have a whole mehod for study that works really well for most people. It would take up too much space to comment on it here, but if you're interested let me know and I can email you something or sparkmail, or whatever.
