Here's my chance to healthy up! Hoping to make some lasting changes to be healthier for myself and my family.

I am Italian American with some Portuguese ethnicity - so I grew up with LOTS of traditional yummy food in my family. I only started to gain weight after age 34, when I was pregnant. I gained 50 lbs! I did lose it and got down to my pre-pregnancy weight 2x, but both times put it back on. It's been 10 years and I am still trying to lose those same 50 lbs.

Here's my chance to healthy up! Hoping to make some lasting changes to be healthier for myself and my family.

I am Italian American with some Portuguese ethnicity - so I grew up with LOTS of traditional yummy food in my family. I only started to gain weight after age 34, when I was pregnant. I gained 50 lbs! I did lose it and got down to my pre-pregnancy weight 2x, but both times put it back on. It's been 10 years and I am still trying to lose those same 50 lbs.

I have decided to set 15 lb. weight loss goals at 6 weeks apart.

I am a divorced, single Mom working full time and life is hectic. Making time for exercise is hardest for me. I am an Occupational Therapist and know how important it is to take care of myself too. So I'm trying SparkPeople and so far I love it! I'm on everyday - but realized that I need to spend less time on this website and more time exercising!

I appreciate your support and I will encourage everyone I can, too.

Don't know anything about colon hydrotherapy so can't give any suggestions there

Remember to take time to participate on all the groups you have joined - lots of encouragment when you do so - and you might get an answer to your question there
