Hi, I'm 44, Mom of 2 great kids, work full-time, husband in the military... and overweight!!! I am tired of being unhappy about it. I am tired of sabotaging myself!! I am tired of being tired!! I am lucky, I have great support in my family and I decided it is not selfish to take the time to try to get healthy. In the long run it is a win-win situation for everyone!
My highest weight was 281, that was the day I delivered my son, 10 years ago! I lost some, eventually settled in about 253. In 2007 my mind was in the proper place to lose weight. By the time my husband deployed, in 2008, I was down to 193, wearing size 14 Old Navy jeans (they stretch!). I went up to 210 about half way through his deployment, and kept going up till I reached 243.
It is like I never make it to my goal, I lose motivation and all of a sudden everything else is more important!
So, I am starting over, that is the great thing about this, I am a work in progress, and its ok to fall off the wagon once in awhile, the important part is that I am a stubborn person, and I keep getting back up!
My husband walked out on us, one week all was great, the next he realized he hasn't loved me in a long time. The silver lining is that now I am good with spending time working on me. I finally started to take care of myself, instead of trying to control and deal with everyone else's problems.

- save $$ for tummy tuck and to minimize the girls and put them where they belong!

Yep my name is Trysche, pronounce Trish, I am a Patricia, and never really liked the name. If you know me, the spelling fits the personality! I am lucky to have a wonderful support system with my family. My husband rearranges his schedule and loves me no matter my weight, my sister gets up at 5 am to workout with me 3 days a week. Only thing is both of them are very fit, they have NEVER been heavy or struggle with weight (although my sister will argue the point.) That's where SPARKpeople come in!
I love to knit! I is very calming, and it is a lost art, that does seem to be making a comeback! Yay!
I love reading and learning.
I really love my job (shh..it's a secret!)
and I am addicted to learning, at 44 I'm starting on a MPS in Cybersecurity.
