For years I've used so many excuses not to be fit....I started taking Zumba classes back in October/November 2009, and it's been up up up ever since! I've finally found a fitness alternative that I truly enjoy! So after 5 months I decided to go for my instructors! AND GOT IT! Last week I was asked to work at a major gym and I was soooo afraid to accept not having material ready, not feeling confident enough, shy....and all the above. BUT I accepted the postion and so glad I did! So they've given me two weeks to get ready and bang out a good butt kicking class.....yikes 0-:

I can do this....

I am a diabetic and have to watch my sugars all the time. I have not taken this disease seriously and now have hemorrhages behind my eyes )-: which apparently can diminish if I get everything under control. One should never take their eyesight for granted! I am tired of making excuses for my unhealthiness and have now taken control- of me.

My Goals:
My goals are to look and feel great by losing those extra 23+ pounds and to wear pretty summer clothes and shoes...(-;


My Program:
I currently do Zumba dance classes 3 times per week and strength training with a personal trainer 1x per week.



Personal Information:
Zumba has really peaked my interest in getting fit once again...thank god cuz there's been a long gap in time...(a year or so) where I could really care less. I know....horrible attitude...and thank god it's changed. I think we've all been there and now I'm here to give and take any support offered! Can't wait to meet others with the same goals!


Other Information:
I heard this quote once and I think it works for me....
"Quitting is not an option" So let's do it!
