This time it's for real..."I think I can, I think I can.."

Alright, I'm back AGAIN. For real this time. Between my lactose/milk intolerance and going up a size in pants for the first time in years it's time to do something. I told my husband to help motivate me. I can do this! I want to feel good about what I look like and I want to be healthy. Wish me luck!

I'm a Californian - born and raised. I come from a family of over-eaters who are over-weight. I would like to kick this "see-food-eat-it" problem.

No problem! Anytime :-) That's what I'm there for! Don't you love Sparkpeople?!? I've actually had my account for about 3 years now and whenever I need to get myself kick started again with my diet I make sure to get back into the routine of using my sparkpeople account.

Hey!

Sorry I JUST read your post on my message board. I plateaued as well. It's hard when that happens. You have to decrease the calories and exercise a bit more.

What I do it listen to my body. Will I feel good after I eat this? Probably not. So I only eat a little. Or I use willpower and don't eat it. Processed food is a killer. You can still eat out though. Just cut the portions.

It's hard. It really does become a struggle at points. Just know you shouldn't really lose more than 2lbs a week and keep at it. You also have to change your attitude. You have to believe you're beautiful. When I began to do that I instantly began dropping the weight...and met a guy.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. It sux having to deal with what you can and cant eat all the time doesn't it? I am a fellow WW drop out from a long time ago. I couldn't do it! The smaller you are the less you get to eat and I was starving! I've had success on the curves diet but I have stopped doing that as well. I guess when someone finds the magic formula they will have to let me know :-)

Any of the Strength on spark people is great. I am love the ones with the ball as it helps support my back, etc. The swimsuit bc videos is strength exercise also but you need to do more than that. You should do strength at least 3 times a week is what I have been told in order to tighten and firm up.

Tons of luck coming your way!!! *sweeps the inlaw-dust out the door* It's all you girlie! I exercised tonight but don't really know quite how to track it. I think the machines are wrong. They're saying I only burned about 100 calories. LOL I mean, gah! Is THAT how much work it takes to get those things off???
