ok back on here again, i been off of here for along time.
i got hurt at work and ended up ripping a shoulder tendon, and ended up having surgery last month on the 28th, so still healing.
But my weight has ballooned way up :( im ashamed to admit.
But my blood sugar is thru the roof for some reason not sure why exactly so i need to really start taking better care of myself
one day at a time. im scared...cause my dr. threatening to put me on insulin and i really dont want that.

i recently starting taking this liq protien from www.nodiet.com
so it seems to be working! ive lost 3 lbs in about 2 days! :) plus watching what i eat etc.

im going to try to use this site more to help me with my goal... which is to lost at least 80 to 100 lbs!

My Goals:
Goals, well first of all i am diabetic type 2, have been for several years now, and my dr. has been on my case to lose weight for a while now, plus i need and want to lose weight for myself, not just for my looks but to feel better and have more energy and to keep my blood sugar under control etc.
But i guess my ultimate goal would be to get down to 150. But for now id be a happy camper if i could get at least below the 200 mark on the scale!

I am currently 235

And of course like most girls, i want to be able to shop for pretty and sexy clothes without having to go into the plus size dept.



My Program:
Still trying to figure out something that will work for me, as i work a ton of hours at my job...as a local truck driver. So not easy to get enough exersize in or to eat healthy. really...but ive got to find something thats do able... that i can stick with.. Soooo im in process of trying to find out what that would be.
( i usually work 12 to 14 hrs a day.. and do some physical activity.. at work...but not enough to count really.)

Hi everyone, my name is Brenda. I dont have allot of spare time these days...esp. with my job etc. as i drive an 18 wheeler..for a living ..localy. so i normaly work like 12 to 14 hrs a day, 4 to 5 days a week. and alittle active but not enough to make a difference.
but i know i need to lose some but have to find something that will work for me...whatever that is.


Other Information:
I am also diabetic type 2, have been for several years now. So thats anouther reason i really need to lose some weight.
I also enjoy classic rock, or reg. rock, etc.. i also like jazz and some country.
I also love to travel if i have the time and money.

    Hi, I surfed into your page via a link from a comment you posted... my brother was a trucker for several years too, before he decided to become an EMT.

    Just sending some good wishes here; I hope you will find this site very helpful, as so many people have. It has certainly helped me, and I recommend it to loads of people.

    Hi, my name is Pam im on healthy trucker page as mskitty203087. Doesn't seem to b much going on there. I drive otr with my fiance and we run a dedicated run from Tampa fl to Greensboro NC. I used to run by myself and come back home every morning. I went to weight watchers. Found it to b the most doable program. I packed a small cooler and took my lunch every night. I found a used exercise bike at a yard sale and got up 30 min early to ride it. I lost 70 lbs doing that. I bring food from home now and use 1 sm and 1 lg cooler to bring food in. Also buy canned low sodium greens, beans and pkg of tuna. Got lots of ideas if ur interested. Be safe.
