No problem. I figure I will share even all the things that haven't worked for me b/c you never know. I didn't know you have back and knee pain. My knees tend to be jacked up from when I gain weight too. I try not to go too crazy, but I will say even doing the treadmill too much hurts my knees. My back used to hurt when I was over 200 pounds. hmmm I say strengthen your abs. I have some Turbo Jam DVDs and I mention this is because she has a DVD called AB Jam. (These are her first set of workout DVDs, I have yet to move on from them b/c I haven't mastered them. Still can't do them 6 days a week in a row like her calendar says.) So anyway, half of that DVD is standing ab work. And IT REALLY WORKS. I am not telling you to order it unless you really wanted them like me, you may be able to find it online or know someone who may let you borrow it. It is also 10min for the standing ab portion which is great b/c you said your busy with the kids. And my boyfriend has tried it agrees and he does abs like on a routine, so I was pretty surprised when he said it's a good workout to do.
ummm I think you can never go wrong with Tae Bo as well b/c there isn't a lot of jumping, but it does get boring after a while.
To be honest, I know my problem is my eating. And it usually is others too. The whole finding the balance of eating enough carbs, making sure they are all good carbs even though they fit in your calories. And eating out at work which I just cut back out of my life b/c I can't afford it.
