I'm Doing It!

Well, here I am again. This is my third attempt at Spark People. The first two times I used Spark People consistently I was successfull in losing. This last time I have lost 50 pounds and so far I have kept it off. I got cocky however and figured "I don't have time" for Sparkpeople. I realize now, I don't have time not to log on each day. The key for me in my weight loss journey is to record my food each day on the nutrition tracker. I keeps me honest. Without it, I have a bit of this or that ...

This last time I have lost 50 pounds and so far I have kept it off. I got cocky however and figured "I don't have time" for Sparkpeople. I realize now, I don't have time not to log on each day. The key for me in my weight loss journey is to record my food each day on the nutrition tracker. I keeps me honest. Without it, I have a bit of this or that and before you know it I am back to my old eating habits of JUNK. Lately, while I don't think I have gained weight back (OK, maybe 5 pounds) I don't feel as well because I am not eating as healthy, You really are what you eat.

I want to be healthy and fit. So I need to eat healthy and move this body to be fit...........wish me luck.....the third times the charm they say.

Long Term Goal:

To be fit, healthy and happy!


Strategy:
1. Log onto Spark People daily to track nutrition and fitness
2. Eat a rainbow of food
3. Walk Journey every day

The Key to Success is CONSISTENCY!!

Hi Sue,
Welcome back to SparkPeople! I don't remember where I made that remark on your post either. I'm still trying to lose those last 10 lbs. But I think I'm healthier now because I walk for 40to 45 minutes everyday and I try to eat healthy.

I'm doing okay. Haven't lost any weight lately but I hope to soon. Getting the rest of my life in order too.

Hi Sue You are doing a great job...keeping your word...excellent!
I lost 2 of the 5 lbs. I put on in December.
This picture is of my newest Grandson born on Dec. 28th.
