This was our first time going past 7, which is why I couldn't believe she was proposing going from the planned 9 to 10! I was in doubt I would be able to do 9 in the first place, but what I've found is at this point, the breathing is fine, the pace is fine, and really, the only thing that makes longer distances harder is my leg muscles groaning about the extra work. I just keep telling myself that it's a "good" pain (hurts in a "i'm really working them" kind of way) and that seemed like enough to get me through those extra 3 miles.
Ha, I do however feel it is RIDICULOUS to RUN for an hour and a half! (plus some change). Who does that?!??! Us, apparently! 1601 days ago
