"Tri-babe" means:

Tri- for triathlon, of course! I have been an athlete since I was a kid... I love endurance sports of all types, especially running, snowsports, and multi-sport.

Tri- for the triad of Mind/Body/Spirit. I am incorporating balance into my life!

Tri - for the homonym "Try", in strengthening my life, if I encounter an obstacle or something new that I want to do but have fears, I will take the first step and TRY!!

And "babe" for, well... "focus and become" :)

Your tag line "Come blog with me." after your question about the Great Wall on the Sparky Marathoners team message board brought me to your page. I'm glad I clicked. What an excellent blog! I'll definitely be following it.

People of all levels were walking/running. No you can not run the wall in many places and with the gridlock and narrow paths it is about finishing.

Hi,
I have to say it is hard because of the terrain, but on that note probably one of the most fun and exciting experiences I have had. I am actually doing the half again this year and signed up with Adventure marathons. Very few people were there to make any great times and just to finish and have fun. The people you meet are great and getting to see China is amazing. You will also see the Wall outside the city and not as much pollution as you will in the city. Worth that by itself. Hope this helps.

Hi - thanks for adding me. I thought your comment on the "How much exercise..." blog was very accurate. I'm not sure why the people putting out the information have to make it so difficult.

I'm so looking forward to trying your sweet potato recipe.

Take care,
JD
