Looking, feeling like a million bucks

2/4/09 My name is Trista, I'm 23 years old (soon to be 24 in April). I am the business office manager/activity director in a supportive living facility. My ultimate goal is to return to my high school weight of 117 pounds. I got a little ways to go, but I am strong and determined. : )

4/14/09 Well I will offically be 24 in two days and what better present to give yourself than to be 16 pounds lighter. Well...and I'm also going to Riviera Maya so that's nice too. I feel stronger, ...

4/14/09 Well I will offically be 24 in two days and what better present to give yourself than to be 16 pounds lighter. Well...and I'm also going to Riviera Maya so that's nice too. I feel stronger, I no longer feel failure is creeping up on me. I know I can do this. I just feel healthier. Whenever I eat something this is too sweet it makes me feel almost sick, i thinks it's do to my change in diet and my body telling me it doesn't want that crap anymore. LOL. I'm starting to feel skinny (in a way). I can feel that my tunder thighs are no longer rubbing together anymore, that alone is gift. I really owe all my success so far to Sparks, without this place I don't know where I would be.

4/22/09 Well I got on the scale today and I have lost 4 more pounds since my last post (my offical weigh-in in day is not until Saturday). I feel so good! I put on a shirt today for work that I had only wore once (because it was a little snug) and today it looks like a maternity shirt on me. I'm in a size 7/8 pants now, I was wearing a size 10, not a big change but I can't what until I can fit in to my dozens of size 6 American Eagle pants again, and my size 5 pants that I use to love.

5/3/09 Guess what fits?...........My size 6 America Eagle pants. Yeah! All that money on pants was not wasted. I knew refusing to give them away to Goodwill when they not longer would fit me would pay off some day.

6/3/09 Well I'm stuck...I've been stuck at this weight for serveral weeks with no so much as a 1/2 a pound gone. I'm just want to lose one pound. :(

6/13/09 Finally after being stuck at 142 for 7 weeks I lost one pound and it is the best one pound in the world. This one pound has now made me officially at my half way point with my weight loss goal. I have lost 24 pounds and I got another 24 to go. I know it is going to be hard, but will do it!!!

7/21/09 Well I haven't posted for a while...I keep going back a forth between 136 and 137. Ready to just hit 135 already! I must say though I am starting to look pretty damn hot in my bikini. LOL

8/8/09 I'm down to 134. DAMN I'm looking good, LOL. I can see 117 in the distance.

9/4/09 I've been running a lot now, at least 3 days a week. Usually only a mile or 2 through the week and 3 miles on Saturday Morning. Running a 5K on the 12th so I'm excited about. I'm hoping to finish it on 30 minutes. Last Saturday I was able to run 3 miles in 32 minutes, so I think I am being realistic by setting my goal for the race at 30 minutes.

My Program:
Time to move things around again 9/4/09:
I walk at the least 5 miles a day, Monday-Friday. I walk at work and at home. I use a pedometer through the week to track walking. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I do strength training exercise for 30 minutes in the morning after work. I run 2-3 Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. For extra calorie burning through the week I do 10 minutes of kickboxing and 10 minutes of yoga and every once in a while 30 minute Turbo Jams if I feel I need it. I try to change up my exercising as much as possible.
I love running !!! Planning on satrting P90X the Winter with boyfriend! Tight body here I come!!!!!

From Illinois. 24 years old. Started weightloss journey and Sparks on 2/4/09

Other Information:
Love to hike in the woods, run, swim, horseback ride, tan, go with my family in our boat to the river, go to the movie theatre, and read. Boyfriend and I are setting a goal to run teh Chicago Marathon in 2010, 26 miles WOW!

i know you will do it you made it this far...... so i know u will get passed it with the weight loss. what do you eat on your diet and how much cardio should i do in a day?
