Be good to yourself and always, always be kind to yourself. Talk to yourself as you would talk to a friend. Realize that you deserve that and don't accept less. From others as well as from yourself. You can do this. You have the strength to do this. It may get lost sometimes, but you need to be your best cheerleader and know that you deserve the best. Especially from yourself.

Thank you for your comments on my blog. Your advice is right on target and I appreciate the help very much! Too bad about the family's behavior, I can't even imagine how that must feel. I had friends tell me not to take it personally, but you know that really does not help since it's our time and that's valuable.
