I was well on the way to goal weight when this was taken....

On July 2, 2014, I was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer. After two major surgeries, a couple minor surgeries, chemo and radiation therapy, I am blessed to have no signs of cancer. As I go into 2016, I am grateful and determined. Exercise is hard. I get breathless easily and have little stamina. But I am determined to get my life back and, with the help of God I am believing I will. May you be blessed this coming year and if you are tempted to skip your cancer screenings or put them off, don't! Also, don't rely on your doctor to refer you. Educate yourself, take care of yourself, and ask for the preventative care you need. I was too passive about my health and I wish I could take it back but I can only start again.
Get back to a healthy body fat percentage. When I take care of my body and work out, i carry a high lean body weight, so it is OK to be a bit above on weight and BMI, but this fat has got to GO!
Picking up a dog in a few days-an energetic, friendly lab mix. Struggling not to adopt the purebred dumped by a breeder because she can't have more pups-we'll see how many dogs I wind up with! Update: I have two. lol

HI hon !! WELCOME BACKERS !!! LOVE that your a LOYAL DAWGGIE !!!
TY for filling out ur vet record ! Awww Daisy and Daffy sound totally SWEET !! Glad that Daisy has Daffy to help her out. It's HORRIBLE that some "so called" "human" (sub human,,,, dirt of the earth) do the breeding thing and NOT care for the dawg. I have a friend who breeds, but her Dawg is the EPITOME of SPOILED ROTTEN !! She won't go beyond 4 yrs of doing this. She loves her Dawg. The pups are adorable !! Izzy (Isabelle) who's a MEOWER is also a rescue. She was found outside and bought to the shelter. No one claimed her. It's thought since she was 11 months old that she "had grown out of the cute kitten stage." Grrr if that's it.. I know having her she's a WICKED RUNNER !! I had lived in a condo when I first came back to Maine that had a door going right outside and she lOVED THAT !! GRRR !! She disappeared for 3 days. I was FRANTIC !! OUT of my mind with WORRY !! Come to find out she had fallen down a neighbors cellar,, he HATES cats,,, KNEW she was there,,, I had a ZILLION Posters ALL over the area,,,, he DID see them, but he wanted her to die down there. THANKFULLY a NICE neighbor heard her meowing, came and got me. I called maintenance,,, he REFUSED to let them in,,, THANKFULLY most buildings had 2 condo's connected, so the maintenance man went down into the one connected and got her for me. POOR GIRL !! Oh she was SUPER FULL Of flea's,,, hungry,, thirsty (it had rained out a little thankfully the idiot didn't take care of his place so some went into the cellar.
I am now back into a high rise.. I Do this ON PURPOSE so if my cat runs out,, I GET THEM BACK !! She's QUICK !!
Don't you just LOVE the way they look at you? Nightly when I talk to MaryAnn nightly ,, Izzy climbs up on my chest,,, lays her head by the phone,, she LOVES MaryAnn,,, and purrs looking at me like a dog does at a steak !
