Movin' On

Hi! I'm M and I'm a 39 y/o Mom of 3 bio kids and 2 step kids. I'm recenlty married to the man of dreams, and unfortunately for my waistline, I eat when I'm happy and since I met my husband have managed to gain back 64 pounds after having already gained 33 pounds when I quit smoking shortly before that. I've lost the weight before, so I know that I can do it, and if I need motivation, all I need to do is open my closet and look at all of the skinny clothes that I bought that no longer fit. ...

My Goals:
I'm looking to lose a total of 116lbs, so I know that I have a long journey ahead of me. I'm going to try to take it one meal, one day and one pound at a time.

My Program:
January 1st 2010 I weighed 236lbs. Fast food, cookies, chips and desserts were the main staple of my diet. I started by slowly limiting those things and lost 14lbs effortlessly. Since then, I have completely revamped my diet and while following my SP nutritional guidelines and I have eliminated eat from my diet and aim to eat as clean as possible. I can do this.

Personal Information:
I'm in the Philly Burbs

Other Information:
I love to read. Stephen King is amoung my favs, but I have been known to cuddle up on the couch w/ a trashy romance novel now and again also.

Have you seen how long your thread on self loathing has grown? That should also tell you that you are not alone...I hope you are doing ok...people are thinking about you, so hang in there!

First off - YOU are NOT alone! Most people put it all back on within a couple of years.

We were never taught that getting it off is not the end of the race.

Maintenance is NOT easy - but YOU can do it!

Negativity is not going to help you right now - allow that you are human and made the same mistake that 95% make after losing the weight.

95% - If that doesn't tell you that it isn't you, I don't know what would.

Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get back on track.

I didn't "make it happen" the first time, I "made it happen" the last time!
