My name is Cindy and I love food - too much. I am here to learn to enjoy food and not just eat. I am here to improve my health and well being so I can lead a fuller more active and involved life with my children and family. My children (2 of them) are at the golden age where they are fun, busy, and still look up to me. I want to not be too tired to do things with them. I want to show them what healthy food choices look like and healthy attitudes. I want to show them what goal setting can do for them. Here we go. My Journey has begun.....

My Goals:
Lose 25 pounds by June 15, 2013

My Program:
I joined Sparkpeople back in 2007 and did fairly well but then fell of the rails somehow. I am now returning with a renewed commitment and plan to make this a new way of living and not just a way to loose weight. For the moment I am focusing on getting my eating habits back under control. I am doing more walking and short bursts of exercises. I am trying for at least 10 minutes of dedicated exercise per day to start.

I am a Mom to two wonderful children with a passion for cake decorating and teaching sugar arts to others. I also love gardening, reading, camping, bike riding, swimming, hiking, playing with my dogs and hanging out with my family. I try not to collect too many things but I do collect cake tools and fun aprons.
Favorite flowers are gerbera daisies, roses and asiatic lillies.
Favorite authors so far are Joanne Fluke, Diana Gabaldon and Jean M. Auel.

emoticon back. I can relate to your story, as I joined spark 2 years ago, lost 40lbs then one set back led to another and 2 years later I gained it back and then some. So good luck to you on your journey, have a great week! emoticon
