Tric's wonderful dieting page of perfection!

I am Tric. I am 18 years old and have been overweight for quite a while already and I was perfectly ok with it but i feel that if I don't get a handle on it soon, i might become diabetic and have health problems over it. I really don't want that, diabetes runs in my family and i have made up my mind that i am going to get a handle on this before it gets a handle on me...lol

Hi newbie emoticon emoticon to SP.
Everyone’s so friendly here; we’re all here to lose weight and keep it off and get fit and have fallen off the wagon from time to time so can help you on any pitfalls but also rejoice when you make it to your goals.
Have fun getting to grips with the site and take it slow (crash dieting never works). You will get there.
I’ve found the nutrition and fitness trackers on here really help to keep me on the straight and narrow and the message boards and teams (LOADS of choice) a constant means of support.
I just wanted to wish you luck with your goals
