How many times have I tried to lose weight? How many times have I done it and then gained it all back? How many times have I picked the cheeseburger instead of the salad? The answer to all of these questions is the same...TOO MANY!

They say that you have to really be ready to be able to lose weight. I've been ready for years. I know that it's not going to be an easy journey, but why does it have to be SO hard? Where is my willpower? I start out the week great...by Thursday, I'm eating cheeseburgers, and candy...and things I don't particularly like just because it's something to eat.

So...here I am...AGAIN...pledging that I WILL lose this weight. I'm not new to Spark...I've actually been a sparker for a couple of years (I originally started out at 220 lbs)...I'm just recently back, though! I could really use some moral support. I've got a great husband, but his idea of watching what he eats is watching it AS he's eating it! He's got a great metabolism, and an active job, so he doesn't struggle like I do. I'm lucky because he'll eat anything I cook...I don't have to make separate food for him. It would just be nice if I could find people who are going through what I'm going through to help each other out!

GOALS:
1st 10% Goal - 19 pounds
2nd 10% Goal - 17 pounds
3rd 10% Goal - 16 pounds

My Goals:
*Get to a healthy weight
*Be more active
*Walk in a 5K and later a 1/2 Marathon (Walk 5K - DONE!!)
*Someday RUN a 5K and 1/2 Marathon!
*Have kids


My Program:
Food:
*3 balanced meals & 2 snacks (spaced 3 hours apart) not to exceed 1200-1550 calories.
*Drink 8 glasses of water/day.
*Only 1 diet soda/day (only after water goal is met!)
*When eating out, make the healthiest choices possible (I'm not going to say NO eating out...it's a fact of life for us, so I'm just going to be more conscious about what I choose!).

Exercise:
5 days/week Turbo Jam
1 day/week free cardio (whatever I feel like doing!)
5 days/week strength training

Personal Information:
I live in Indiana and work for a newspaper in the accounting department. It's a desk job in an office where people LOVE to eat!

I have a WONDERFUL husband of almost 4 years.

I have 3 monster dogs that I adore, but none of which are big on exercise!

    emoticon I signed up for the April challenge and put my 16510 fitness at end of March on a page that had all of our names on it but I noticed when I came across the list again it didn't have my number up it was still question marks. I never got any e mail telling me where to put this up until another e mail from someone else came in and I saw the one one the one who had the list of names....what I'm asking is can you help me I see you are one of the leader of the LIttle People challenge. I have been putting up my fitness each day for April and those e mail are coming in from others that are putting their up too. So am I in the challgene...I am slow at understand where and what to do emoticon
