My Three Sons

I am 48 years old mother of 3 boys, married for 25 years to a wonderful man, I work part-time as a community health nurse and I am also doing my Master's in Nursing, finishing at the end of 2012. I actually love to exercise, am an avid runner. My problem is not exercise, but too much food and a menapausal metabolism. I have weighed 143-145 the past 3 years, recently gotten below the 140 mark and really want to get to my goal weight of 132.

My Goals:
Get my weight down to 132 by September 24th and keep it there.

Increased flexibillity.

Taking time each day for meditation..

My Program:
Running 4x per week with a long run increasing by 2 km once per week.

Eating less, more determined not to eat junk, smaller portions.

THANK YOU for the idea. I have a little playmate cooler and I will just have to be organized and pack it full of healthy stuff. Maybe if I make baggies of snacks on Sundays I can just grab on my way out the door each day. I just found small containers of Hummus which I love, so that would be good to take. Thanks for the tips

Thanks for the tips on going back to work. I actually am in outside sales driving around all day, so unfortunately I pass lots of fast food restaurants along the way...I'll have to pack my lunch and just keep on driving by them all and NOT stop. I have worked too hard to gain the weight back. Good luck with your recovery!!
