Dreams of Ironman

Update!! Today my scale broke the 160's and put me at 159.8 lbs which I have not been to in a very long time, like high school!!! I am just about 9 months away from Ironman WI and ready to start my training to finish this dream!

Update!! Today my scale broke the 160's and put me at 159.8 lbs which I have not been to in a very long time, like high school!!! I am just about 9 months away from Ironman WI and ready to start my training to finish this dream!


Today I start the second part of my dream. Last September on the 13th, I attempted my first Ironman in Madison, WI. I had trained for the past year but certainly not as well as I should have. I was also carrying at least 40 more pounds than I should have. I was forced to drop out around mile 70 on the bike. This experience was very difficult and hard to get over but I realized that there were things I could do about it. This year I am mocking my training plan and my goal is to lose that weight I need to get off. In September of 2010 I will go bike the whole course, swim the course and do a very long run and then sign up for 2011, where I will become an Ironman! My family and friends will once again some see me and this time I will succeed! Thanks to my mom, I have discovered this page. And now I will go after my goal! Part of the help I need from you is to make sure I keep on top of my training! Motivation helps!

My Goals:
My number 1 goal is to lose enough of weight so that when I go back to conquer my Ironman WI dreams I am successful and get to have the biggest best celebration ever. That means losing around 55 pounds and working my butt off!

Race schedule:

April: Run 4 Home

May: Cellcom Green Bay Marathon

June: Bellin Run and maybe Green Bay Triathlon

July: Door County Half Ironman and Irongirl Racine Sprint Triathlon

August: Jerabek Challenge, Race the Lake, and Cheesehead Half Marathon

September: IRONMAN WISCONSIN!!!!!!!

My Program:
Being consistent with my training is key. Also watching the cheating and stress eating at work can not keep on happening. I can do this but I need to stay dedicated.
