New Year - New goals

Exercise every day with a SP video - not excluding other exercise
go to the gym 2 - 3 x a week (look into aqua-aerobics)
track food on nutrition tracker
strive for 10,000 steps a day
reconnect by having lunch at least twice a month with people at work
go for it on the job by producing the content, being proactive and focused. In other words being who I am!
Slow down and rest on weekends - get off the merry go round!

Thank you for your comment on the FitBit/Pedometer. As I learn more about how it works I'm sure I will sort things out to my satisfaction but when one is learning there are many questions that arise. I have joined the FitBit team too which should be helpful. It seems to me that most FitBit users like them once they get used to them. emoticon

On the negative self-talk challenge:
When we're beating ourselves up, a tiny blunder is inflated into an epic typhoon of failure. So the next time a negative thought intrudes, take a few deep breaths and then quickly narrow it down and put your problems into the smallest box possible. If you think you messed up, instead of saying, 'I'm an idiot' say, 'I can do this better.' Visualizing that box can really help."

Seeing a tiny box in your mind shows the actual size of the problem and helps you feel more confident that you can take it on.
