New after 5 Years

For almost 5 years now, I've been on SparkPeople and haven't met my goals. It's been frustrating.

At the same time, I've never really followed the plan as written. Started the diet and lasted about a week. Read the book, but never really taken it to heart.

Starting today, 01-June-2014, I will give this site, its diet and its program the legitimate try that I should have 5 years ago. As it reads, it makes sense.

I don't really know if the plan works on ...

I don't really know if the plan works on its own terms or if those terms are reasonable. I'll find out though :)

If it works, I will be successful. If not I will move on.

Yes I'll be there 8 weeks.. and it is a long time, especially for someone who gets really homesick haha.. but it'll be good. I'm excited.

I'm going to start walking more as well :D

I was doing SO WELL with the gym last semester, and this summer... well... I haven't been going at all. Gonna try to change that.

Come walk to utah. I'll be your walking buddy.

I'll only be in Tonga for 2 months :) (I say ONLY like its not a big deal... but i'm freaking out! haha)

And no I haven't seen that movie/play, so it did mean absolutely nothing :P But the effort meant something!

I've been about the same weight, I'm ready to start slowly add changes like you do :) Gonna start adding in veggies! Gotta get use to them fruits/veggies! Gonna eat lots of them in Tonga!

Okay.... now you didn't really give me any updates on YOU! :D LETS HEAR THEM!
