2015 is the Year I quit Spark People

I joined SparkPeople in 2009. I lost almost 30 pounds. Never quite reached my goal. I'm giving it one last go this year. Wish me good fortune!

Happy New Year!

TD - thanks so much for a very explicit (and kind) response to my question on your page. I really appreciate it. I've decided to stop just reading stuff and either commenting via an icon or just accepting in a blanket sort of way what has been written in the hopes of learning from other Sparkers. So - as I say - thanks for your perspective.

I would just add . . . *when what I try inevitably fails* . . . NOT a good idea to look at your efforts like that - setting yourself up for failure before you've properly got going. Yeah - I know - Granny/eggs/suck comes to mind!!

*I'm actually going to try the exact opposite of this (that's part of my evil plan) #evilplan* - being contrary to my current wish to practise 'mindful eating'.
Thanks for visiting - AND could you explain the above? As I'm probably the least disciplined person you know, my reason for trying to be mindful with food consumption is that I thought if I tried to inject a spot of organisation into my food habits, it might just help to maintain the weightloss that I've managed to achieve. If I'm barking up the wrong tree I'd like to know before I bore myself to death with unneccessary effort. Thanks 'n stuff.
