Very true, I always viewed the gym as a way to relax from school, but sometimes there was just too much! I would walk on the treadmill on an incline (and hold on) so I could focus on my notes, or sit on the bike. Never the elliptical, that was just too much work! 1364 days ago
I know that feeling! I was doing ST regularly, but then school got incredibly busy and I stopped for 6 months! But now school is over and I'm back to my ST routine. It feels great :) 1365 days ago
At least you're being honest in calling it an excuse, because that's exactly what it is! I know spark has a lot of routines that don't include weights/machines to ST, so you can utilize those! I do an arm routine every other day and ab routine on those days. I'm waiting till I find a new gym (within the next month) before I start doing leg routines since, like you, I have no idea what to do (other than squats and lunges!).
But it is a good idea to get in a cardio routine before adding a ST routine because you don't want to do too much and then get overwhelmed! 1365 days ago
