My plan was to make some great changes during my 40th year- but that did not really work out too well! I experienced some negative feelings and some heartache and pain and had to learn to try to recover from these things without having the means within myself to make the changes.

But now I am getting there. I am going to continue to work diligently to find a good job, continue with my new great friendships, try to not worry so much about my daughter and if I am a good enough mother, and to lose some of this weight! I seem to keep gaining instead of losing!

It is a new year, I will find a new me!

My Goals:
I want working out to be a natural part of my day; I want to be the person that will go out and run in the rain.
This goal has been met; I have run in the rain and the snow and loved it. It is this darn summer heat that I cant get myself to go out in.

My Program:
My current program is trying to get back into the program! Enjoying learning new ways to enjoy exercise and making some foods that I stayed away from since my daughter did not like them (brussels sprouts here I come!)!

Personal Information:
I am a new 'Empty Nester' and not quite sure I am ready for this new chapter...even if I have known for almost 18 years that it was going to happen.

    I'm feeling ok. Heart races sometimes and I can feel it pounding in my chest, even though heart rate is normal. Weird feeling. BP was much better at doctor visit this am, but then tonight was 189/114 :-( She did say the med takes 2-4 weeks to work and it's only been a week.

    hi, have walked inside 60 min, done day 3 week 3 video, and my pushup challenge.
    Maybe if you exercise it will remind you that you have control over something, make u feel productive...try and do one video or one workout if you can't get your computer to cooperate...don't try and catch up just continue from where you are...not so overwhelming
    We can do this- 7 more days til Feb is over...I will be a few days behind that date in finishing our challenge

    Hi Teresa!!! Trying to get back with it. Did a few Prevention exercises, did day 1 of week THREE, have walked an hour inside on WIO, gonna go do my push up challenge right now b4 i 4get. How are with me- please say yes!!!! that was a huge amount of cakes you dealt with this weekend!!!!
