Just another newlywed in love...
I joined SparkPeople almost a year ago, starting at 157 pounds, and wanted to lose ten pounds before my August 8th wedding. Well, that didn't happen. And now, six months into my marriage, I am ten pounds heavier than when I started. It's time to get serious, and I could really use the help and encouragement of some Sparky friends!

My Goals:
My biggest goal is to get down to 145 pounds. But I also want to get in better shape so that I can run a half-marathon; I want to learn to cook healthy meals (which first means learning to cook at ALL); I want to stop eating just because I'm emotional or bored or stressed; I want to find ways to eat healthy in spite of my crazy food allergies.
My Program:
Starting slow by going to the gym at least three times a week (for mostly treadmill cardio, plus some weight-type equipment). Tracking my calorie intake and trying to stay below 1,800 per day. Drinking LOTS of water, and no more soda.
