The age old struggle to be moderate in an age of plenty...

Hello! This is my 2nd time on SparkPeople. At my heaviest, I think I was at or over 180 pounds. I quit weighing myself out of depression. So, I am not for sure. However,I lost 20 pounds on my own in 2009. My goal was to be 125, which at 5'2" is a healthy weight. Then I joined Spark and I lost 30 more pounds, bringing my weight to around 130. I went through a divorce before I could lose those 5 last pounds. I was sad and the weight slowly starting creeping up. Now, after gaining 30 of my 50 ...

My main goal is to feel better and have more energy by creating LIFE CHANGES...new habits that will last the rest of my life.

To go on a backpacking trip.

My Program:
I already eat pretty well. There is always room for improvement.
So, continue to improve. 1.Manage portions.
2.Eat for joy and health and not any other reason.
3.Make exercise a regular habit that I do with little thought.

I have been trying to get the morning exercise thing going for years now and I wish I could claim 25% success. For me the 2x in the past 2 weeks is actually good.
