Its all a big scam!

Hello world. I am a full time mother of two who is always searching for better, healthier ways to live my life. I am very skeptical of the food industry because I've been deceived one too many times.

I've struggled with weight my whole life and now I'm in a good place. I work out 6 days a week (strength training and cardio) and try to eat as healthy as possible. My fitness goals are to gain more muscle mass and to decrease my body fat ratio.

My Goals:
After my second pregnancy I had a lot of weight to lose. With a lot of hard work I finally reached my goal. But in the words of "Emeril" I am taking it up a notch and training for a figure competition! So right now it's not really about losing more weight. It's about gaining more muscle right now.

My Program:
Right now I am training for my first figure competition! It's a lot of work, but I think it'll be worth it in the end.

Personal Information:
I'm a 31 year old mother of two who is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and trying my best to look and feel good in the process. I strive to educate myself and my family as much as possible on health and nutrition so we can always make good choices. As a self proclaimed skeptic, my #1 rule is, "Don't believe everything you read or hear."

Other Information:
My favorite past time was baking...until I started packing on the pounds LOL. So instead I'm putting all of my energy into my new blogs and my e-book. Check them out!

I just read your blog, I found it through the comments on the high fructose corn syrup article. I totally agree with you and the article on this one, I have notice big changes when I don't consume those products. Unless it's a whole food, I have to check each label so carefully to avoid it. Most of the time, at least when we are at home, we are trying to use whole foods.

Hey there and welcome to SP! I read your comment on the HFCS message board and checked out your blog, too. I am just now starting to try and weed out the HFCS from our house. Its hard to do with two young kids, and still keep it inexpensive! Plus one of my kids is a major picky eater, and she won't touch some of the natural foods, so I know how hard it is as a parent to do so. Nice to know I am not alone!
