My Goals:
My #1 Goal is to improve my Lifestyle. I will accomplish this by making better nutrition choices, exercising regularly, and putting me first!

My Program:
I am taking it slow this time around. I think I jump in and overwhelm myself then burn out and fade away. So this time I am walking for an hour on the treadmill 5x week. I started at 2.9 mph and am now up to 3.4 mph (since Jan. 1, 2013). So progress is being made.

Personal Information:
I am from Minnesota.

Other Information:
My favorite hobbies are camping/hiking with my family and reading my Nook. I also grow a vegetable garden each year. It really helps me get my veggie quota in during the summer months!

All weekend I attempted to get on this page and send you a little note, but my iPhone is not the best device for this sort of thing.

OH MY GOODNESS! I actually let out a yippee! when I saw you had taken a run around the neighborhood. That is SO AWESOME! I hope you did an "I rock!" dance because it was much deserved.

Now, as it's starting to get cooler (at least in SE Wisconsin!) you can enjoy that fresh Fall air...by running through it!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited for you. SINCERELY. :) x 200!

Your buddy,
Ang

I feel like I'm commenting you to death!

Do not think about others watching you! First off - most people won't even try to run. Secondly, you have to start somewhere! Thirdly (and most importantly) most people are too busy thinking of themselves and what other people are thinking of them to even pay attention to someone else!

Trust me - I am always skittish about getting into the pool for a swim. Around me graceful, skinny swimmers glide in the water like they were born there. I get in, splashing around like I'm drowning. At first, I was worried that they were going to call animal control ("Whale in the pool!") but after I realized that literally NOBODY CARES ABOUT WHO ELSE IS IN THE POOL, I got over it and enjoyed my morning thrashing.

Again I say, morning runs, morning swims, morning ANYTHINGS are the best! :D

And hello to you, new friend! I was intrigued by your comment on someone else's page. Reading your posts made me realize what we had in common!

I look forward to hearing about your continued running journey!
