I just have to get back on my treadmill and make it happen! Way to go on your goals!!! You are an inspiration! emoticon

Good for you!! Had you been doing any running before this?? I read so many members running for health and enjoy it.This really seems to help get the weight off...Any help you can offer?

Thanks for your comment on my blog! Yeah, if you have prescription orthotics, your podiatrist can definitely adjust them to alleviate knee pain. You have to get it just right, but it can really help, especially if you're wearing the orthotics due to past injuries. I never had a foot injury, which is why I wanted to wean myself back off the orthotics. :) Good luck!

I noticed you post on the c25k thread.
Good Job! I commend you for running a race! You are at least off the couch right? That's how I feel. You really improved those times!!!

I will be running my 2nd 5k on April 24th and my time to beat is 35:10...

I've had terrible problems with my shin splints (especially during the first race) and have been working on stretches and got some new inserts with arch supports.

I'm hoping to do well. Great job on completing your 5k!! It is such a wonderful experience and a great sense of accomplishment! Be proud.
