I never thought it would happen, I would have to battle my weight.... Well, I guess I knew it might happen, but I was in big time denial.

Since quitting my stressful corporate job to be at home building a nutrition & weight loss business , I've put on about 15 lbs (I had already put on about 20 since moving to Chicago 12 years ago). Not really a good role model...

I have a wonderful life, and a wonderful husband, who has parkinson's disease (yes, he's really young for that - diagnosed at 34 - on my 29th birthday). I feel better than I have in my life, but I want my outsides to match my insides. I want to be a role model for the people I help, and I want to respect the incredible blessing that God has given me with this body.

I have to learn how to use food to my advantage, and not let my impulses rule my life!

I felt sick since I was a child, and now that I no longer am dealing with all of the chronic problems I had for more than 20 years, I want the next 20+ years to be great all over, and that includes my tummy & legs!!!

    Hi Traci,

I'm part of the April's fool challenge and am introducting myself to you for this week's mini challenge.

My name is Mona (Tiny Libra). I'm 50 and I also have been working from home for the past 2 1/2 years. I returned to work 3 weeks ago - working home is not for me.

In those 2 1/2 years, I quit smoking, which helped me gain 30 lbs. So I'm here to get help losing those extra lbs.!!!!

    Best of luck to you,

PS - you look stunning in that red bathing suit!!

Welcome to the Vitamin challenge! I'm sure all the things we learn together will benefit your home business as well as your weight loss. Within the next year, I plan on going back to school to become a registered dietician. We can all learn from each other and truly make a difference. Keep it up! Kim
