I need to get much more focused. Especially on my calories. I've been on here over 1 1/2 years and have lost only 8 lbs. I actually like to exercise, so I'm good on that. My biggest problem with that is just devoting 'daily' time to it and staying consistent even when I'm in a rough place emotionally. Calories, wow!, I know they're even more important, but I love food - junk food, And the holidays are upon us. 200 calories each day for junk, that's my goal. That should be very do able.

Thank you for my sparkgoodie and for the congrats on my soon-to-be grandson. We're very excited and can't wait for him to get here. His due date is only 4 days away from DMIL's birthday. She's pretty excited as well.

I roasted sweet potatoes, red potatoes, acorn squash, zucchini, eggplant, mushrooms, red onion, leeks, brussels sprouts, and asparagus, sprinkled with some olive oil and a little salt and pepper. They were good!

Thanks for commenting about my activity minutes. To be honest, I haven't been formally exercising at all this summer. I've been too busy. I've been counting all the minutes I've been painting either my office at work or in my house. I've also been moving, as our office moved from on location to another. In that move, I've found that I've been doing a lot of the moving, I've been assembling large cabinets, delivering supplies as they come to our teachers, etc.

At home, I've been stripping wall paper, painting walls, painting woodwork, de-cluttering, you know, the usual free time activities. I'm just busy all the time and as long as an activity keeps me busy and physically active for at least 30 or more, I count it.

The thing is, my minutes aren't even close to accurate. That foolish counter will only count up to 120 min. per day. I sometimes paint for 4-6 hours a day. I actually have a lot more min than will ever show. I've complained, but it doesn't matter. It all has to do with that SparkAmerica thing and others who have cheated with their minutes. Now that hurts everyone who is posting their real min.

Anyway, now that school is beginning and our office is getting into shape, I'll have to get back to an exercise routine and when I do, I'll use either My Fitness Coach for the Wii system or Jillian Michael's 30-day Shred.
