Hi! I am Tosha and I have been a member of sparkpeople.com since 10/31/07 but I had never used it until recently I have been seeing more about the site and the wonderful things that it has done in people's lives. So I decided to play around with it recently and not let it be another thing I just signed up for. But I must say that I am loving it (Thanks to a little coaxing from Sherria.. thanks girlfriend). I believe I am reaching a new plateau in my life and this will be the last time I restart a new lifestyle change. So I will be looking for much encouragement from my spark buddies!!

My Goals:
1. Drink my Water daily
2. Weigh only once a week, not everyday.
3 Measure once a week
4. Write it if I bite it, even if
that means going over my calories for the day.
5. Allow myself a cheat day.
6. Say I weigh 100 something and not be lying! (160 is the goal)
9. Look in the mirror everyday and tell myself how much I love myself,
10. Run Susan G Komen Race for the Cure 5K June 2009!
11. Take my vitamins everyday.


My Program:
1. Stay within my calories daily.
2. Walk 20 miles per week
3. Strength train 3-4 times per week.
4. Water, Water, and more Water.
5. Preplan my meals and not post after I have eaten (this is when I usually go over)



Personal Information:
My name is Tosha and I am from Illinois. In March 2007, I had lost almost 40 pounds. I had quickly gained back 25 by November 2007. I was always tired. I slept, ate, and went to work (in that order). It didn't help that I worked nights so I was always turned around. In January 2008 I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. So depression had definitely stepped in. In May 2008, I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and not let this consume me. I have had my moments, but as of July 13, 2008, I am officially a DONE GIRL!!

    Summer 2010 STL Spark People Rally!!!

    OK, so how's the MO Botanical Garden on July 17 at 9 a.m. sound? We could meet at the Visitor's Center and walk around for 2 hours-there's a 'Health Fair' going on the same day, too! If you're a resident of St. Louis County or St. Louis City, admission is FREE before noon-otherwise it's $8 for adults...the place opens at 9 a.m., so it wouldn't be quite as hot then, but we could do 10 as well...lots to do/see here & plenty of walking exercise & time to get to know fellow STL 'Sparkers'
